There is now a smaller image region vocabulary online. It is based on the schemas by Morten Frederiksen and Jim Ley. I removed the redundant terms (Image, width, height, depicts, depiction) from my previous version. The focus is on image regions now. The missing terms can be re-used from Jim's SVG vocabulary and the FOAF spec.

libby: action bengee try to build OWL DL version of the parts of image annotation ontology and publish it somewhere.
libby: actually, bengee, maybe try with just the image annotation stuff? might be easier to discuss to start with?
libby: then we can do a nice comparison of an rdfs and owl dl version and see where the differences lie and what we can do about it

This site offers some apps to experiment with different term sets. I'm using an online ontology modeler and a publishing tool that can generate both serializations in different formats (RDFS, OWL DL, OWL Full, RDFS + OWL) and html documentation for the terms used. If anyone of the w3photo team is interested in collaboration or helping me, send me a message and I will set up an account for you.
